The serene towns of New England are gripped by fear as the discovery of an eighth body intensifies concerns about a potential serial killer operating in the region.​

On April 22, 2025, authorities in Springfield, Massachusetts, responded to reports of an unresponsive woman near a riverfront bike path on Hall of Fame Avenue. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The Springfield Police Department’s Homicide Unit, in collaboration with the Hampden District Attorney’s Murder Unit, has initiated an “unattended death investigation,” pending autopsy results.
