“I became a mother of two by the age of 20, working from home while creating clothes, knitting, and designing interiors for friends and private clients,” Yazemeenah shared in 2020. “From my teenage years, I knew I’d never be confined to an office or a single location for the rest of my life. Even while raising my children, I remained active and independent.”

Despite her ability to sustain a long and successful modeling career, Yazemeenah acknowledges that the industry still predominantly caters to younger generations.

“Several years ago, I thought the industry might begin to evolve and embrace more older models, but that shift never truly happened,” Yazemeenah shared in an interview with Vice. “I believe both men and women share similar fears about aging, even though men might express them less openly. No one enjoys watching their skin succumb to gravity. Yet, aging has its own beauty—it’s a process that makes you stronger with time.”

“Age is truly a state of mind,” Yazemeenah explains. “Staying connected to your inner child allows you to recharge and maintain that energy. It’s all about cultivating a playful, adventurous, and curious spirit.” She emphasizes that there are no secret “magic tricks” for maintaining a youthful appearance.

Despite her natural beauty, many speculate she’s undergone cosmetic surgery, believing it’s impossible to look so radiant and youthful nearing 70.

“I haven’t had any cosmetic surgery so far,” Yazemeenah clarifies. “The idea of altering my body through surgery when I’m perfectly healthy just doesn’t make sense to me.”

Yazemeenah Rossi has earned admiration over the years for embracing her natural beauty and staying true to herself.

“I use oil on my skin regularly and apply rapeseed oil to my hair,” she revealed to The Potion Tree. “Once a week, I exfoliate my skin with a mix of olive oil and fine sugar. My diet includes an avocado a day, along with organic meat and fish.”

As Yazemeenah approaches her 68th birthday in December 2023, her timeless elegance continues to captivate.
