“What Lobsters?” – The Ultimate Fisherman’s Bluff

In a sleepy coastal village, a fisherman strolled down the dock proudly holding two huge lobsters—one in each hand.

Only one problem: lobster season ended three weeks ago.

Just as he reached the pier, he bumped into the local Fisheries Officer.

“Caught you red-handed,” the officer said. “Lobster season’s over!”

The fisherman raised his eyebrows and replied,
“Oh, these aren’t caught—they’re trained.”

“Trained?”

“Yep. I let them swim every day. I just whistle, and back they come.”

Skeptical but intrigued, the officer agreed to watch. The fisherman gently released the lobsters into the water, lit a cigarette, and waited.

15 minutes passed.

Finally, the officer said, “Well? Aren’t you going to whistle for them?”

The fisherman looked around casually and said,
“Whistle for who?”

😂🦐 What lobsters, indeed…

🎣 Fishing for Compliments
A young man walked up to a fisherman standing knee-deep in a river.

“Nice pole!” he said.

The fisherman smiled.
“Thanks!”

“That’s some top-notch tackle you’ve got.”

“Thank you kindly!”

“And that bait—looks premium!”

“Much appreciated!”

The young man tilted his head.
“You do know the fish don’t run through here this time of year, right?”

The fisherman shrugged and replied,
“Oh, I’m not fishing for fish…”

“Then what are you fishing for?”

With a grin, the man said,
“Compliments.”

😂🎣 Mission accomplished.
