“Oh yes, I do! He’s in the bedroom with Mommy right now.”
Another brief pause. “Okay, here’s what I want you to do. Put the phone down, go upstairs, knock on the bedroom door, and shout that Daddy’s car just pulled into the driveway.”
“Alright, Daddy. Just a second.”
A few minutes later, the little girl returns. “I did it, Daddy.”
“And what happened?”
“Well, Mommy got really scared. She jumped out of bed without any clothes on, ran around screaming, tripped on the rug, hit her head on the dresser, and now she’s not moving!”
