London, UK – In a relationship that has garnered widespread attention, 23-year-old Debbi Wood has been dubbed “the most jealous woman in Britain” due to her unconventional methods of ensuring her partner’s fidelity.
Wood, who resides in Leicester, reportedly compels her partner, Steve Wood, to undergo daily lie detector tests to confirm his loyalty. Her jealousy extends to monitoring his phone, emails, and bank statements, as well as forbidding him from watching television shows featuring women.
The couple’s relationship began in 2011, and Wood’s controlling behavior intensified after they moved in together. She attributes her actions to a psychological condition known as Othello Syndrome, a delusional jealousy disorder that causes individuals to believe their partners are unfaithful without evidence.
Despite the strain, Steve has remained in the relationship, stating that he understands her condition and is committed to helping her through it. The couple has sought therapy to address the underlying issues and improve their relationship dynamics.
